About the chickens and eggs

      Our flock consists of five chickens two of which are Rhode Island reds, these chickens manage to lay about one brown egg a day, each. in addition to this there are three araucanas, these chickens are sometimes known as the Easter egg chicken for there ability to lay green or blue tinted eggs. They lay about three eggs every four days. The fact that these lay blue eggs is not due to any genetic modification, but purely an adaptation to there south American habitat.
